Hugh Paterson appointed Jesmonite Projects Ambassador

We are proud and delighted to share that Plasterite’s very own Hugh Paterson has been appointed Jesmonite’s first Projects Ambassador!

The appointment brings Hugh and Plasterite welcome recognition at leaders in their field and will provide future exposure through Jesmonite’s social media channels as Hugh documents his architectural project work and casting experiments using a range of Jesmonite materials.

Hugh comments “I want to share a dying craft as much as I can, so that young people can be inspired to get into the industry. As an ambassador I will focus on teaching people about my craft, inspiring others to pick up their tools and get into the trade, as well as spreading the word about such a versatile range of products that can be massively successful in construction.”

To follow Hugh’s progress check him out on Instagram & Tik Tok and the Plasterite channels on Instagram and Facebook.

Jesmonite is a range of casting materials suitable for decorative architectural installations, and hobbyists that also create anything from jewellery to coasters to table tops. Jesmonite is known as the chameleon material because it can replicate a diverse range of textures and fine details. Plasterite typically use Jesmonite for cast stone applications such as this garden portico installed at a property in Grosvenor Square, or other decorative features for the outside of your home.

Architects and Specifiers can learn more about Jesmonite through their Made from Jesmonite CPD.
