We have just completed a custom commission for a storied London hall which required us to model and cast several ornamental plaster lids for urns on display. Our craftsmen were required to model the lid, which has a diameter of approximately 400mm, in order to create a mould. Once the client had approved the model we were then able to cast the bespoke plaster mouldings and hand finish the fine details before installing them on site.
As you can see in the images below, each lid features a beautiful egg and dart style pattern to the perimeter edge and a waterleaf enriched finial on top. The finial was cast and fixed to the lid separately to add some strength.
If you have a project that requires bespoke ornamental plaster mouldings we would be happy to offer you our advice and a quotation. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
